CONFERENCE INFORMATION Registration & Information Located in the Chantilly Foyer, the registration and information desk hours are as follows:

Counselors/Marriage and Family Therapists/ Mental Health Counselors, Nearly all Professional Counselors, MFT & Mental Health Counselor boards accept APA. Check with your board to be sure. Please Note: Licensing Boards change regulations occasionally. We attempt to stay on top of the most recent changes. If you have questions about a course meeting your specific board’s approval, we recommend you contact your board directly for a definitive answer. Participants must have paid registration fees, signed in, attended the entire seminar, and signed out to receive a certificate. Failure to sign in or out will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available. • Licensed Mental Health Professionals The AACC is approved in multiple states to give Continuing Education to licensed mental health professionals. When requesting CEs, please indicate in which state you are licensed on the Continuing Education Form. If this is not indicated, you may receive the wrong CE certificate for your state. • Liberty University’s Global Center for Mental Health, Addiction, & Recovery and Liberty University’s Center for Professional & Continuing Education has partnered with the American Association of Christian Counselors to offer continuing education credit for certain event workshops, courses, and training for licensed mental health profes sionals. • The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), #1400, is approved as a provider for social work Continuing Education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) pro- gram. ASWB Approval Period: (09/06/2023 to 09/06/2026). Licensed social work ers should contact their individual regulatory boards to review current Continuing Education require-ments for licensure renewal. Any presentation that is less than 50 minutes in duration is not approved by the ASWB for Continuing Education credits. (Plenary sessions do not meet ASWB standards). • The AACC offers Continuing Education credit for play therapists through the Association of Play Therapy (APT Approved Provider #14-373), so long as the training ele ment is specifically applicable to the practice of play therapy. • The AACC is approved by the NationalAssociation of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), #166470, as an Approved Education Provider and is recognized as meeting nationally approved standards of education developed for the addiction/substance use disorders in the counseling profession. CE contact hours that are pro vided will be accepted toward national credentialing by NAADAC and many of the individual state licensing and certification bodies, as well. Please check with your state for further information and authorization. • Pastors, Pastoral Counselors, Lay Counselors, Coaches The training offered through AACC-sponsored conferences and training programs also meets the ongoing CE requirements for pastoral counselors, life coaches, and crisis responders who are credentialed through the International Board of Christian Care (IBCC) or one of its affiliate CONFERENCE boards: the Board of Christian Professional and Pastoral Counseling (BCPPC), the Board of Christian Life Coaching (BCLC), the Board of Mental Health Coaching (BMHC), and the Board of Christian Crisis and Trauma Response (BCCTR).

Name Badges & Workshop Schedules Admission to Mega National Christian Counseling Conference events requires an official AACC name badge. Name badges will permit access to the plenary sessions and workshops. To enter workshop presentations, attend ees must also present a workshop session schedule valid for that particular session. This schedule will be provided at check-in, based on workshop presentation selections made in advance. If you did not receive a workshop selection schedule or did not preregister for workshop presentations, please visit the registration area to receive assistance. AACC Conference Bookstore The AACC Bookstore is located in the Chantilly Foyer. The Bookstore will make available cutting-edge resources including courses and books. Be sure to stop by and let us help equip you to help others. Hours: Thursday, October 10, 12:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, October 11, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Food You are responsible for your own meals at the conference. Several dining options are available on-site. Conference Staff All conference staff members will be wearing name badges. Please do not hesitate to ask staff members or volun teers for assistance. Our goal is to be of service to you. Exhibits Sponsors, publishers, organizations and academic institu tions are offering information and products in the Chantilly Foyer located on the lobby level. Hours: Audio & Video Pre-conference workshops, workshop presentations, and plenary addresses will be recorded. Most plenary addresses will also be videod. Exceptions will be made if a presenter has not granted taping permission. CDs, DVDs or USBs may be purchased following each presentation at the audio and video sales tables in the Chantilly Foyer. Personal audio or video recording of sessions is not permitted. Continuing Education hours The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) offers some psychologists, licensed mental health professionals, and play therapists Continuing Education (CE) credit due for good standing with certain states and a limited number of professional organizations. The AACC offers some medical doctors, osteopathic physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses, Continuing Medical Education (CME)/ Continuing Education Units (CEU) with a limited number of professional organizations. It remains the responsibility of each participant to be aware of state licensure requirements. Participants should check their state and/or local regulations regarding required CE, CME, or CEU hours.
