Jennifer is the co-author of two books, including The First 48 Hours: Spiritual Caregivers as First Responders. She and her husband, Kevin, live in Hampshire, Illinois. Shannae Anderson, Ph.D., is a licensed clini cal and forensic psychologist in Virginia and California, and she has worked with patients for more than 25 years. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where she studied under renowned trauma expert,
Dr. John Briere, and distinguished substance abuse researcher, Dr. Michael Newcomb. Dr. Anderson is currently an adjunct professor at Liberty University in the Doctor of Psychol ogy program and the Clinical Director for Monarch Recovery and Kokua Wellness treatment programs in Southern California. For over a decade, she taught Pastoral Care and Addiction in the Recovery Ministry pro gram at Fuller Theological Seminary, in the Master of Psychology program at California Lutheran University, and in the UCLA Ex tension Drug and Alcohol Certification Pro gram. Dr. Anderson is currently the Director of Psychology and the Co-director of the Ethics & Advocacy Division for the AACC.
