Summary: Integration of cutting-edge psychiatric science and biblical truths is the foundation of Practical NeuroTheology—the practical understanding of why we do what we do and how to heal it. Neuroplasticity is the healing principle God de signed into our brains, allowing our pliable and adaptable brains to change based on our decisions. Our non-stop life experiences require 200-400,000 decisions daily; thus, our brains are constantly in flux. Moment by moment, new connections form, idle tracks are pruned back, and brain circuits change. The presenters explore how life experi ences—transgenerationally, prenatally, and throughout childhood and adulthood—impact brain development, structure, function, and, ultimately, our BioPsychoSpiri tual well-being. We will examine how thoughts, beliefs, emotions/feelings, decisions, relationships, and lifestyle impact our neurobiology, psychological growth, and spiri tual transformation while demonstrating only harmony with, or evidenced belief in, God’s design for life (laws of health) and result in healthy, flourishing outcomes. These techniques can be used by psychologists, licensed mental health professionals, medical professionals, and ministry leaders. 1. Discuss environmental influences on brain development and examine the research showing the value of Practical NeuroTheology 2. Identify testable design parameters (laws of health) which life and health are built to operate upon and how deviations contribute to disease 3. Recognize the significance of transgenerational epigen etic influences on human DNA and brain function 4. Identify specific interventions that promote healthy brain function and research that demonstrate the value of these interventions 5. Identify the relationship between belief and physical and mental health 6. Identify the six elements, with their correct sequence, in every decision their patients make and teach it to them 7. Integrate key aspects of various evidence-based psycho therapeutic modalities—mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Motiva tional Interviewing, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Emo- Learning Objectives Participants will:
