disorders. However, both professions have traditionally considered sleep disruptions primarily as a symptom of physical and mental disorders rather than the cause. An alternative viewpoint is emerging, where disrupted sleep is understood to be a contributing and causal factor to the mental health condition. Along with this alternative view point is a recognition of the efficacy of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, known as CBT-I, in the treatment of mental health disorders. Learning Objectives Participants will: 1. Recognize the linkage between poor sleep and mental health conditions 2. Describe the differences between the current traditional and alternative views of the interconnection between dis rupted sleep and mental health disorders 3. Like other personal ity disorders, BPD has often been considered untreatable. Therapy, therefore, has traditionally focused primarily on managing symptoms, such as dysregulated affect and be havior, including suicidal impulses and tendencies toward self-harm. This view more recently has been challenged by authors that have suggested a relationship between BPD and a complex trauma background (Al-Shamali et al., 2022), as well as a connection between BPD and dis sociative symptoms and disorders (Howell & Blizard, 2009; Scalabrini et al., 2017). In this presentation, psychologists, licensed mental health professionals, and medical profes sionals will examine the similarities and differences among symptoms of BPD, Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), and dis sociative disorders (DDs), including Dissociative Identity Disorder. Participants will discuss possible comorbidity among these disorders and the potential for misdiagnosis. Implications for the treatment of BPD informed by treat ment strategies for clients with C-PTSD and DDs will also be discussed. Heather Davediuk Gingrich, Ph.D. Toccoa Falls College 1. Summary: Great marriages happen intentionally, not automati cally. Drift happens in Christian couples, but coaches and ministry leaders can help couples gain the marital bliss for which they are searching. Kissing is the bridge leaving the land of loneliness and crossing into the land of closeness. This pre-conference workshop will utilize unique coaching tools, such as RISE and the Story of Us, emphasizing daily surrender to Jesus and insights from positive psychology. Participants will gain coaching skills that will enrich their marriage so they can enrich other marriages. Learning Objectives Participants will: 1. Describe how to move clients from drifting to loneliness to regularly living in the land of closeness
