Licensed mental health profes sionals and ministry leaders will learn to use the Five Steps of Taking a You-Turn, presented in the book Boundaries for Your Soul, to help their clients develop healthy boundar ies and secure attachment with parts of their souls that are stuck and burdened by challenging thoughts, feelings and memories. Through didactic lessons, a demonstration, and a guided experiential exercise, attendees will learn how to em power their clients to befriend and lead the various parts of their souls. Attendees will also be taught how to facilitate the connection of parts of their souls with God, integrating parts work with Christian faith and practices, leading to greater emotional freedom. Learning Objectives 1. Identify foundational principles of the Internal Family Sys tems model as they apply to Christians. 2. Name the five steps of Taking a You-Turn and describe what each step involves. 3. Practice key therapeutic interventions, such as identifying a part, or cluster of parts, of the soul in need of care and heal ing and developing an internal boundary with overwhelming thoughts, feelings or memories.
