DrRhona.com Summary Compulsive and addictive eating can feel like a form of bondage, as individuals struggle with loss of control, food obsession, and unhealthy body image. In this workshop, psychologists and licensed mental health professionals will evaluate a dynamic, holistic approach to developing a recov ery mindset, helping clients break free from these patterns and build a sustainable, healthy relationship with food and body image. Participants will focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit and explore the necessary level of care to bring about genuine transformation in clients. Participants will recognize the nature of compulsive and addictive eating and the appropriate level of care required for lasting change. Participants will also formulate how to implement a bibli cal model of care, using faith-based principles to aid in the renewal of the mind through brain training for Christian clients. Additionally, participants will gain practical skills to help clients navigate support systems and integrate these re sources into their ongoing recovery journey. Learning Objectives 1. Recognize the nature of compulsive and addictive eating and the level of care required to facilitate genuine transfor mation and recovery. 2. Describe how to implement a biblical model of care to support renewing clients’ minds. 3. Develop strategies for helping clients navigate and inte grate appropriate support systems into ongoing care for sus tained healing and freedom. 406. Summary The transition through perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause significantly impacts mental health, sexual functioning, and overall quality of life. Hormonal fluctua tions, particularly reductions in estrogen, can lead to a vari ety of symptoms that negatively affect physical health, body image, and sexual well-being, often impairing emotional and physical intimacy within relationships. Many women may feel reluctant to discuss these changes with healthcare pro viders, therapists, or even close social networks, leading to increased anxiety, isolation, relationship strain, and disrup tions in personal and professional functioning. This work shop for licensed mental health professionals and ministry leaders aims to enhance clinical understanding of the physi ological, psychological, and relational challenges associated with menopausal transitions. It will also explore evidence based interventions and strategies to support women and couples in navigating this life stage with improved emotional well-being and relational satisfaction. Learning Objectives 1. Define and describe the stages of menopause, including premenopause, perimenopause, menopause, and post menopause. 2.
