Private Practice Summary This workshop addresses the profound disconnection some faith-based clients experience from God, often stemming from loss, trauma, relational pain, guilt, shame, and unmet spiritual needs. Tailored for psychologists, licensed mental health professionals, and ministry leaders, this session of fers evidence and faith-based tools for facilitating mean ingful therapeutic encounters that promote healing and
spiritual reconnection. Participants will gain strategies to help clients confront deep emotional wounds, challenge distorted spiritual beliefs, and restore a sense of divine con nection. The workshop equips professionals to guide faith based clients through a transformative process that fosters emotional resilience and spiritual renewal by integrating clinical practices with spiritual healing. Practical demon strations will provide attendees with concrete techniques to support clients in addressing past hurts and rebuilding a restorative relationship with God. This approach aims to bridge the gap between psychological healing and spiritual restoration, supporting clients in their journey toward heal ing and hope. Learning Objectives 1. Identify barriers in the faith-based client’s relationship with God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. 2. Apply a practical tool designed to facilitate conversations with God that promote reconnection and healing for past loss, disappointment, trauma, relational pain, guilt, shame, or unmet spiritual need. 3. Analyze live demonstrations of these tools to build prac tical skills for immediate use in practice.
