Mindset Coaching: Overthinking to Overcoming 1.25 credit hours Continuing Education Accreditations applicable to this workshop: IBCC Level: Beginner Angel King, BCMCLC Christian Counseling and Coaching Associates of Raleigh Summary This interactive workshop is designed for coaches, pastors, pastoral counselors, and lay counselors seeking to enhance their skills in assessing Christian clients. The focus is on clients seeking faith-based coaching or lay counseling who have struggled to make progress in various areas of life due to limited thinking or overthinking. Participants will evalu ate anonymous Christian client profiles to identify appli cable circumstances and discuss them in group settings with fellow professionals. Additionally, participants will learn to identify key words to create questions that assist clients in self-evaluation, helping them better understand their thought patterns. They will also describe five action able steps to help clients break free from limited thinking and overthinking patterns. By the end of the workshop, each participant will prepare a client action plan and/or follow up care plan equipped with tools to implement faith-based roles and facilitate lasting client transformation. Learning Objectives 1. Evaluate anonymous Christian client profiles to identify key circumstances and develop a deeper understanding of how limited thinking and overthinking impact progress in life. 2. Identify key words and create thought-provoking ques tions that assist clients in self-evaluation, empowering them to gain insight into their thought patterns. 3. Describe five actionable steps to help clients overcome limited thinking and overthinking and prepare a client ac tion and/or follow-up care plan to facilitate lasting transfor mation in faith-based settings. 425. Life Counseling Solutions Summary Narcissistic abuse in relationships can leave deep emotional and spiritual wounds, challenging the very core of a will ing Christian client’s faith and self-worth. This presentation offers a unique integration of clinical expertise and biblical wisdom to guide psychologists, mental health profession als, medical professionals, and ministry leaders in help ing these clients heal from narcissistic abuse. The presenter draws from her extensive clinical expertise in psychotherapy and relationship trauma to explore the dynamics of narcis sistic relationships and their profound impact on the victim’s psyche and spiritual well-being. Attendees will learn to rec ognize the subtle signs of narcissistic abuse, understand the trauma bonding process, and gain practical, faith-centered strategies for guiding clients toward healing and restoration. The session will address how to reframe the abuse experi ence within a biblical context, rebuild shattered self-esteem through God’s love, and foster healthy boundaries rooted in Christian principles.
