This session equips psychologists, licensed mental health profession als, and ministry leaders with evidence-based skills to guide adults in having intentional and productive discussions with children about technology use. Attendees will gain an under standing of the effects of screen time on brain development and mental health while also exploring innovative strategies to integrate technology use into children’s academic and life goals. Participants will be provided with actionable tools, including creative discussion scripts, creating a technology safety agreement to outline healthy boundaries, and devel oping vision boards that connect screen use with personal and educational success. Additionally, attendees will prac tice leading relevant conversations, encouraging children to approach screen time intentionally. Learning Objectives 1. Summary Ministry can be demanding and, at times, hazardous. Li censed mental health professionals and ministry leaders must be equipped to address the unique risk factors that those in ministry face. It is essential to recognize the spe cific challenges of this population and how to effectively address the issues that arise as a result. In this workshop, participants will focus on the six most significant chal lenges encountered by ministry professionals, as identi fied in the presenter’s doctoral research. Participants will explore the root causes of these issues and gain insight into therapeutic techniques that target these core concerns, fos tering better support and care for those in ministry. By the end of the session, participants will be able to assess those in professional ministry for the most significant issues they face, contributing to the development of an accurate plan of care. Participants will learn how to investigate the context of pastors’ lives and their vulnerability to specific problems, helping to create more effective treatment plans incorporating an understanding of these vulnerabilities. Additionally, participants will practice experimental tech niques that can be integrated into an overall intervention model for ministry leaders. Learning Objectives 1. Assess the unique challenges ministry professionals face to develop a tailored and effective plan of care that addresses their specific needs. 2. Evaluate the contextual factors contributing to pastors’ and ministry leaders’ vulnerability to particular issues, en hancing the ability to create appropriate, context-driven treatment plans. 3.
