While coaching is becoming increas ingly popular, leaders often face limiting beliefs that hinder an ability to fully engage in the coaching relationship. In this workshop, ministry leaders and coaches will recognize the importance of the coach’s ability to foster a safe space through curiosity and humble inquiry, which are essential to a successful coaching session. Participants will identify a leader’s unique needs in the coaching space and distinguish key coaching presence skills that effectively engage leaders. Additionally, ministry leaders and coaches will assess practi cal tools to demonstrate a coaching presence that encour ages self-awareness and positive transformation through curiosity and humble inquiry. Method™ (Locate, Invite, Foster, Transform), a trauma-informed framework for licensed mental health professionals. Combining the evidence-based principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS) with Christian faith, The L.I.F.T. Method™ places the Holy Spirit at the center of the therapeutic process, making it a unique and spiritually empowered approach to trauma healing. Clinicians will learn how to guide willing Christian clients through the method’s four phases—Locate, Invite, Foster, and Transform—to address emotional wounds, align with their Kingdom Identity, and experience holistic trans formation. Through practical demonstrations, real-world case studies, and interactive discussions, this session equips participants with cutting-edge skills to integrate spiritual and clinical interventions. Attendees will leave with immediately
applicable tools to create a lasting impact in their clinical practices, helping clients recover from trauma while deep ening their relationship with God and fostering resilience in their emotional and spiritual lives. Grand Canyon University Summary Twelve-Step Integration (TSI) is an innovative counseling framework that merges Twelve-Step Facilitation (TSF) with other evidence-based practices (EBPs) to enhance addiction treatment. While TSF, grounded in the principles of Twelve Steps mutual-help groups, is widely recognized for its ef fectiveness, it may not fully address the diverse and complex needs of individuals with substance use disorders today, as seen by psychologists, licensed mental health profession als, and ministry leaders. TSI responds to this challenge by providing a flexible and comprehensive toolkit tailored to the unique requirements of each client. This program will introduce TSI’s core principles and techniques, highlight ing its systematic and ethical integration of compatible EBPs. Emphasizing ethical decision-making, multidisciplinary col laboration, and scope of competence, TSI empowers mental health professionals to better support their clients’ recov ery journeys. Participants will explore TSI’s theoretical and empirical foundations alongside practical examples and implementation guidelines. This program is designed for counselors, educators, and researchers eager to deepen their understanding of TSI and its potential benefits in the field of addiction treatment.
