Summary Some Christian clients believe in the biblical understanding of root spirits, described as underlying spiritual influences that manifest in harmful thoughts, emotions, and behav iors. This workshop explores the 14 root spirits mentioned in Scripture and their common manifestations. It provides participants with insight into the spiritual forces of evil that attempt to manipulate and control the client’s behavior. Presenters will identify eight key vulnerability factors that increase susceptibility to demonic oppression, including 21 behavioral “Footholds of Satan” and hidden heart messages, such as unresolved emotional wounds or internalized lies, that create openings for spiritual disturbances. The work shop also emphasizes biblical remedies and empirically supported techniques that foster healing and liberation from these influences. Coaches and ministry leaders will learn how to cultivate a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit, strengthen resilience, and enable clients to break free from deception, replacing lies with God’s truth for a more abun dant and fulfilling life. Finally, practical guidance will be provided on how clients may inadvertently open themselves to spiritual forces and the steps they can take to protect and prevent such occurrences. Learning Objectives 1. Assess spiritual issues in the counseling session with coaches and ministry leaders 2. Identify eight risk factors of vulnerability (including 21 footholds of Satan), signs, and symptoms of demonic op pression to address clients’ symptoms 3.
